Antonio Guida

Antonio Guida arrives at Il Pellicano in 2002 as Executive Chef and in 2004 gains his first Michelin star. This award consolidates his passion for culinary arts, characterized by attention to detail and the refined quality of the ingredients used for his preparations. The strong focus on evolution of the Cuisine and the constant work in order to define a new balance between presentation and taste, are a source of inspiration for the selected group of collaborators that are supporting his creations. In 2010 the restaurant Il Pellicano earned a second Michelin star, in 2011 Chef Guida is awarded as Grand Chef by Relais & Châteaux and in 2012 enters the list of renowned Italian restaurants conquering the three forks of the acclaimed Italian guide Gambero Rosso.
He has gained his knowledge of the culinary world with qualifying experience made through the long trip across Italy, France and Asia, working with dedication various Michelin starred restaurants such as Pierre Gagnaire in Paris, Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence and Don Alfonso in Sant’ Agata sui due Golfi. The next years are experienced in working in Rome as Sous Chef at the restaurant La Terrazza Hotel Eden before making the dress and achieve the position of Chef de Cuisine.
